Incidents attended by LFB, by borough

Numbers of fires, and other incidents, attended by the London Fire Brigade by borough and month.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) data covering all deliberate fires, primary fires in dwellings, and non-dwellings, shut in lift releases as well as many more sets. Data broken down by month since January 2009.

Primary fires comprise of all fires attended by LFB in buildings, vehicles and outdoor structures, and fires involving casualties, and fires attended by five or more appliances. Counts of fires for each area are provided by whether the cause was identified as accidental or deliberate.

The statistics include some incidents that are not geo-referenced (with a borough name). Sometimes incidents are geo-coded later, and so the data can change each month, and data for more recent periods must be regarded as provisional.
